| Isn't it crazy how life can fly by? Even if I try to live in the moment and take things slowly, I suddenly realize that months have gone by in a flash. So today is a beautiful day in Boise, and I'm glad it's Friday. Isaac and I finished our Final tests at BSU, and summer time is just around the bend. The past few months have been rich. I feel like God has used me at work-which was my prayer-and it is so encouraging. There was a few months where we had a lot of drama and tension going on at my job. One day I just prayed and asked God to powerfully bring his kingdom to my workplace, allowing His presence to dominate the atmosphere. Within a couple short weeks things started changing. A few key factors happened that really created a sense of peace at my job. Not just for me but for everyone! Thank you Lord for being so faithful and working through me to impact so many people!!

| It's been a while since my last update. The holidays were good- Isaac and I were super busy, but we made it through everything in one piece. For new years we went to a wine bar downtown and had a few glasses of wine while listening to live music. We had so much fun and I'd have to say that it was my favorite new year's celebration of all time. Right now we're just taking life in stride. We are focusing on getting Isaac finished with school- he only has three more semesters until he graduates. In the meantime I'm still working at the bank and am taking an art class at BSU.
My best friend Monica (who many of you know of) is in love and thinks she may get engaged to her boyfriend Jason sometime this year. I hope it's sooner than later- they're a great couple and I'm really happy for her.
My (younger) sister Valerie is getting her Bachelor's in Social Latin American Studies with an emphasis in spanish (she's now completely fluent after her semester in Central America) this June. We're going to fly up to Seattle to her graduation. I'm so proud of her.
I won a trip to Las Vegas through a competition at my job. We won an all expense paid trip 4 days and 3 nights at the Riviera Hotel on the Strip. Isaac and I have to go sometime this year, but we're not sure when. I've been to Vegas before and believe me, it truly is sin city...but there's some fun parts about it too. Isaac hasnt' been there, so I'm excited to show him around.
So yeah, for the next 6 months or so I'll just be working and taking my class while Isaac takes his 5 classes. I really want this to be a season where I learn to give my full heart to God and allow Him to do his work in the practical life settings I'm in at work and school. Sometimes it may seem dull just living a routine, but I know that God can spice things up if I allow Him to. There's hurting people and lost people that I sit next to in my office for 8 hours a day. Surely God can do something to reveal himself through me. My hope is that I submit myself to Him.

| So Isaac and I got the new Nintendo Wii today. We've been playing it for 10 hours with a 1 hour break. It's out of control fun...and my arm hurts from swinging in tennis, bowling and baseball. If you want to play it, come over.
Other than the Wii, there's nothing else new going on. I did buy a cool yellow purse from Old Navy though. I've never had a yellow purse before.
I've been reading through Romans. Good book.

| So. Life is good.
I just got home from helping my friend Monica pack for her trip tomorrow. She's going to Cambodia and Vietnam to minister to street kids/orphans for 10 days. I wish I could go with her group, but unfortunately Isaac and I don't have any more vacation time at work. I'm really excited for her because I feel like I know what she's about to come face to face with...I thank God for blessing me with my experiences in Asia.
These past few months have been quiet & good. Isaac and I have had a lot of time to fellowship with friends and get our new married life situated. This next month or so is already getting so crazy. I think every weekend from now until New Years is already booked with stuff to do. It gets busy this time of year. We have found that people constantly want to hang out with us...and at first we always did, but now we're realizing that although it's awesome to hang out and grow closer to other people, we need to put our own relationship with each other first. But most importantly, our quiet time with God.
My new little hobby: WINE. Don't worry, I don't drink it all the time... but I'm starting to really appreciate the taste. On Friday I'm going to a wine tasting & cheese party. I'm excited. I heard on Christian radio that there's going to be an endless supply of wine in heaven. I don't know if that's biblical, but it sure sounds like a good idea. Hehe
